An example of laser eye surgery without a knife is the application of the method FemtoLASIK. The FemtoLASIK method is the modern equivalent of the LASIK method. The femtosecond laser Visumax is a CARL ZEISS device which is more accurate, safer and we can make a thinner flap than with the regular LASIK technique. The FemtoLASIK method is also called the IntraLASIK or Intralase Femtosecond Lasik.
